One for the Money finishes third overall

In the weekend box office sweepstakes, One for the Money featuring Katherine Heigl as Trenton-based heroine Stephanie Plum took in $11,750,000 in gross receipts.  This was third overall for movies this weekend, second place out of the three releases that opened Friday.

While the movie is not well regarded by the critics, fans of Janet Evanovich’s books are driving the ticket sales for now.
